RBS Uses the Following Elastomers

Nitrile (NBR):
Suggested temperature range is between -40 0C to +105 0C . Preferred for price: function efficiency. Nitrile is very durable against aliphatic hydrocarbons, greases and oil.

Polyacrylate Rubber (ACM):
Outstanding resistance to oil and oxidation. Continuous temperature range to 150 0C . High ozone resistance.

Fluorel (FKM):
Suggested temperature range is between -30 0C and +220 0C . Resistance to grease, oil, fuel and most of the chemicals. Relatively expensive material.

Perfluoroelastomeric(FFKM):
Continuous service temperature of 327 0C . Excellent to high temperatures and chemicals.

Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR):
Suggested temperature range is between -30 0C to +140 0C . Better heat, oil and wear resistance than NBR.

Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber (EPDM):
Suggested temperature range is between -40 0C and +150 0C . Good resistance to brake fluids, steam and Esther fluids.

Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR):
Suggested temperature range is between -50 0C and +100 0C . Good resistance to glycol containing brake fluids, acids, bases and alcohol.

Natural Rubber (NR):
Suggested temperature range is between -60 0C and +90 0C . Similar condition resistance to SBR. Used where high elasticity is required.
